117: klkasych @ Hippopilla: I just had knee surgery from a sports injury. My favorite form of exercise is playing ultimate frisbee (which is how I got injured). It’s so fun because you’re running like crazy (think soccer) but you aren’t paying attention to how tired you are. I’m still recovering, but I could definitely use some bars to fuel my physical therapy workouts!!!

I have been feeling better the past few days but this morning I woke up in a shrill of pain…but only on the right side of my head. I don’t want to complain, but it made everything I did today that much harder than it should have.
I started off the morning very early, as I woke up at just after 6am to the sound of up-way-to-early-to-be-golfing golfers and the pings of their golfballs. Arg.
I have been craving pancakes for the past few days so I made Kath’s famous Oatmeal Pancakes and topped them off with natural pb and a heated apple.
I spent the morning going through boat safety boxes and first aid kits so you know, we won’t die in the field. I don’t know if you remember this from last year (use caution when you check this link…it’s got injuries/blood in it!) but with the other team we didn’t have a first aid kit with things that I needed and the cut took wayyyyy longer than it should have. It was seriously very painful.
Anywho…finally broke for lunch and devoured another sweet, sweet organic mango in one of my coworker’s cute bowls!
Which happened to match one of my plates! I tried to make mini pizzas but because I was only using a toaster, the crust wasn’t up to par…topped my Arnold’s Thin w/ Laughing Cow Light Cheese, a bit of marinara, spaghetti squash and chickpeas.
For dessert I had three of these babies…so delicious. And almost gone. Wahhhhhh…
More fun errands run in the afternoon (snacking on a small apple and clementine) and then I came home to these awesome packages:

I won these in a giveaway on Krittie’s Blog a few weeks ago and you can betchya that I broke open that bread to try. Oh.My.Goddness. This bread is awesome. I had a piece with a bit of Crofter’s Jam.
Then I got an awesome stash of Forze GPS bars for doing the giveaway and review on the blog myself!!! I can’t wait to try all the other flavors I haven’t gotten to try yet! Thanks Lauren!
Changed more oil on another boat and played with batteries before finally having dinner: Mexican Chickpeas and Vegetables on a Spinach Salad.
And of course I had to have dessert: Blackberry Chocolate Chip Bread w/ Dark Chocolate Dreams PB…to die for.
Alright, I’m going to try and get to bed semi early so I can fight off this cold and get rid of it for good. I gotta be up to par for my 1/2 Marathon in NINE DAYS!!!
