Have I kept you on your toes enough?
Are you excite?
Do you want to know what I got to do today?
That involved something I get to cross off my Life List?
Lets start with the beginning of my day? I woke up early because I was nervous as h-e-double hockey sticks and couldn’t sleep any longer. So I got breakfast ready from the hotel’s continental breakfast; enter: instant oats!
I had a packet of plain and apple cinnamon, and added a banana. Somehow this always sits like a brick in my belly, but old fashioned never does. I wonder why?
Then I went and packed up all my stuff in my frozen and ice covered car…and slipped and fell on my tush. So embarrassing…and my hip and knee hurt.
Ouch. I was more worried about the fact that my pants got dirty because…
Then I headed off to CSUSacramento to show up for my…
TELEVISION INTERVIEW WITH
SACRAMENTO 10 NEWS!
It’s on my Life List (ok, it says be in a commercial, but this is even better!) so I was more than thrilled to partake, and of course spread the word about this awesome campaign!
I met up with the reporter at the student union and did a few things that you’ll find out about in the TV interview! Hopefully it will be up within the week, and I’ll def be letting you know when! I’m soooooooo excited!!!
I was nervous as heck but got through it with a smile on my face (and only after realized that I slouched the entire interview; boo) and with great pride to help spread the word. Caitlin you rock!!!
I was exhausted by the time I left, as I was completely rattled the whole time, but totally starved at the same time! Nerves must burn lots of cals…and I suppose eating breakfast 2 hrs earlier than I have been! Anyhow, I snacked in the car as I drove home from Sacramento today and it entailed (no pictures because it would have been…boring to say the least) a pb and cran-apple butter sandwich thin, an apple, h2h, and a choco-walla odwalla bar.
And of course coffee…because believe me, I needed it…
Check out the snow that I encountered when I had to go through the mountains though! I was terrified of black ice the whole time though! I was super excited to see the snow though, being a SoCal Beach Girl and well, snow is VERY RARE.
I finally got home 8 hrs later (stupid !@)(#$&%*$#)#$*(!@# LA Rush Hour Traffic!) and was happy to see my parents, one brother (other still taking finals; good luck Eric!) and of course an AWESOME PACKAGE waiting for me!!!
First din din. Simple and vegetable filled since well, I had none today as of yet! Spinach salad w/ lots of veggies and a TJ’s Marsala Burger. Nom.
And then, the unveiling of this marvelous package from Newman’s Own Organics!
I was so excited I was jumping up and down and squealing like a little girl! I cannot wait to try all of these products, and share them with my family of course! They were all really stoked to see all the goodies…ok, maybe I’ll share.
Ok, it has been a very long day and I need some sleep…bed time!
