Dangit Trader Joes…

For making things that taste too good…and for being 8+hrs away from me!!!  More on that first part in a sec…

blog 009

Breakfast this morning was way before the freak’n crack of dawn…like 5am style.  Perks of field work.  Same cereals, but a full cup of kashi go lean and a banana added instaying power till 10.30!

blog 011

Snack during our survey was the orange and grapes…and an unpictured Arnold’s thin w/ 1T pb…all shoved down in 2 seconds…I’m talented like that.

Lunch was on the move and consisted of the apple in the above picture and a Crunchy PB Clif Bar.  Oh how I love their return…because staying power from 1.30pm till 7.30pm!

blog 012

Way lazy for dinner so nuked some veggies and brown rice, with a veggie burger, and demolished it in 3 seconds…dangit, couldn’t beat my lunch record.

And I might have a had a five few of these…freak’n trader joes.  Why do you have to make things sooooooooooo well and only offer them ONCE A YEAR!!!!????

Ok, I’m off to bed.  Today was hard work.  I’ve been so boring w/ the blog lately…well, except for the exception of Brad’s Review last night…Please excuse my boringness…I’ll catch up to more liveliness some day!

WOW! I’m closer to a TJ’s and I’m not even in the States!!! I’ve never been, though, but I have plans to this summer!

  5. Olga says:

Yeah, I’ve decided that next winter, I’m going to buy enough off those cookies to help me survive a nuclear war.

  6. Balance, Joy and Delicias! says:

great eats girl!!! what’s that candy from Tj’s? I’ve never seen it before!

  7. shelby says:

Oh my gosh! We bought those cookies around Christmas time and my whole family was addicted…actually my family is addicted to ALL TJ’s cookies! I think they lace them with crack…

  8. Brandi says:

ah – i love those jo-jos!!! I wish I had bought more when I to TJs at Christmas time :)

  9. Mara @ What's For Dinner? says:

Those jo-jos are a no-no in my house!! We eat however many there are!

Definitely not boring! You blog is always fun to read.

  11. Mica says:

I’ve never been to a Trader Joe’s either! I think the closest one is two and a half hours away (in Chicago). I will definitely have to check it out next time I’m up there because all the Florida/California bloggers are making me jealous.

  12. gina (fitnessista) says:

  13. Rachel says:

I feel you, my friend! My nearest TJ’s is in Seattle, a four or five hour drive away. I heard there’s a new location request form on their webpage – maybe we can bombard them?

  14. Run Sarah says:

Those cookies look sooo good, only once a year? I hate that!

TJ’s is 7 hours away from me…by plane though! I miss it! Glad you are enjoying the PB Clif return!

  17. Sharon says:

    I love it all!!!!

  18. Diana says:

Oh yeah, those Joe Joe’s are RIDICULOUS. Although pretty much any variation on an Oreo is my downfall I think.

I loved Brad’s review, btw. He’s totally right, too.

  19. Heather says:

We totally understand how busy you’ve been lately… but I don’t think you’ve been boring anyways! :)

I know what you mean. There is NO TJ’s anywhere near me, and the nearest Whole Foods is 5 hours away!

  20. Kailey (SnackFace) says:

No need to apologize for being boring because you SO are not! Seasonal flavors are such a tease! Mmm I miss all the incredible seasonal Clif bars…gingerbread come back to me…

    Have a great, restful night!

  21. Marianne says:

Ah, but if TJ’s is so far away, then it should be a good thing you can’t get those cookies. That way, you aren’t missing out (or burning gas just to get to some cookies).

Really, I’m just trying to make myself feel better about living in Canada with no TJ’s on this side of the boarder. HA!
