Catching Up

Hi. Sorry I haven’t updated in a few days, it’s been kinda crazy around here! First we had my mom’s surprise party on the 27th for her 50th birthday and it came out great! She didn’t suspect a thing! So i did my job well and made her cry! hahahahaha…but yeah. We had the party at a place called rutabegorz, which has really good healthy foods! so it rocked! Anyways, again, sorry for not updating, trying to get some stuff done and relax a little…and i can see that isn’t working too well!

26 December – Wednesday

Bfast: oatmeal w/ raisins, cranberries, walnuts and 1/2 apple

Exercise: something! i think i did 4 miles that day. haha.

Lunch: garden veggie soup w/ ww pita and hummus and other 1/2 of apple

Snack: apple pie lara bar (actually tasted like apple pie too!)

Dinner: Spinach salad w/ 1 pc tofurky, mushroom gravy, 1/2 ear corn, and tomatoes

Dessert: small serving of my apple crisp w/ dried cranberries

27 December – Thursday

Bfast: cinn raisin bagel w/ 1/2T pb and banana

Exercise: 4.25 mile run on track

Snack: TLC bar

Lunch: soycheese spinach, bell pepper sandwich w/ orange

Snack: peppermint bark (like, 4 pieces that size! ouch!)

Appetizers: (this was while i was setting up my mom’s party…it was madness with all those people!) around a dozen tortilla chips w/ salsa, artichoke dip and some sort of cream cheese/apple/cranberry dip (most was w/ salsa, and a few w/ the other dips)

Dinner: ratatouille w/ 1 pc of squaw bread (i didn’t have the butter or the cheese on it…lactose intolerance! ack!)

Dessert: pieces of chocolate chip and walnut coconut cookies (i had a few more pieces of the chocolate chip ones…these were such yummy cookies! and they’re VEGAN!)

28 December – Friday

Bfast: maple pecan simple harvest w/ walnuts and cranberries

Exercise: 4 mile run, calastinics

Snack: 1/2C lf plain yogurt w/ 1/4C kashi go lean, strawberries and frozen blueberries

Lunch: 1 pc tofurky w/ spinach, tomatoes and gravy (not pictured, 2 dark chocolate pretzels and dark chocolate graham cracker; work is too freak’n tempting!!!!!)

Work: 6 hrs on feet

Snack: candy (Ack)

Dinner: veggie soup w/ 1/2 ear of corn added, 2 pcs ww toast

Dessert: 2 vegan snickerdoodles (Ack AGAIN)

29 December – Saturday

Bfast: oatmeal w/ walnuts and cranberries

Exercise: 6.5 mile run

Snack: carrots and hummus

Lunch: 1/2C lf plain yogurt w/ 1C kashi go lean w/ strawberries and frozen blueberries

Work: 5 hrs on feet

Snacks: cranberry cluster and TLC bar

Dinner: veggie curry w/ 1/3C white rice

Snack: box of raisins and few mms

30 December – Sunday

Bfast: oatmeal w/ walnuts, apples, cranberries

Exercise: 7 hrs of birding and walking around a lot of parks

Lunch: ww veg hummus sandwich w/ strawberries and apple; TLC bar

Snack: appel and zbar

Dinner: ww bun w/ veg burger, lettuce, tomato, mustard; salad w/ cucumber, tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette

Snack: (sorry, no picture…was dark theater) box of raisins, few mms

Whew! what an update!

    I know that you love protein bars. What is your favorite all-time bar?

    I really like most of the luna bars (i don’t like the lemon or chai tea ones) and i also like clif bars. I also like to munch on other bars like odwalla bars and TLC bars, but my all-time favorie is the caramel brownie luna bar and the peanut and chocolate, chocolate or banana bread odwalla bar. YUM!
